I started riding when I was 8 years old at a riding school in Lancashire where I grew up. At 15 years old, my family moved to surrey, and I started to share a horse as my love for all things "horsey" had truly taken hold by then!
A couple of years later I met Keith Tollick (Owner/Partner) and I took my A.I. (Assistant Instructor) Exam a short while after. I then spent 6 months at a Dressage Yard in Holland to further increase my knowledge, and even though I thoroughly enjoyed my time there I was drawn back to England, where I started to compete at Pony Club level.
In my early twenties, I started to compete at BSJA and BHS Eventing to Intermediate Level.
I have showjumped nationally and internationally, including winning at Hickstead and at the Horse of the Year Show.
I am continuing to compete on my Grade B horses when not rushing around the Livery Yard and Riding School, and am still loving the thrill of the competition.
